Our philosophy is to ask the user only for minimum data required in order to provide excellent services. Any necessity of storing more information will be stated accordingly.
When it comes to using the decentralized apps (DAPPs) these require at least a wallet address to be confirmed by the user in the corresponding wallet provider. There is no other personal data stored in any DAPP developed by AFIEther. Please be mindful that Ethereum blockchain is pseudonymous, meaning that your transactions will be visible on the ledger and can be traced back to you as a person in certain situations.

Cookies should be enabled in order for the websites to work properly. We use cookies for storing session information. Cookie consent is mandatory, website may not work correctly without them.
Furthermore, in order to prevent scams or other malicious activity websites may track your IP address. This information may also be used for informative purposes, marketing and business intelligence.
For newsletters, we just require a valid email address. We’ll use your email to send you news and promotions. We don’t disclose it to anybody, it stays safely in our database. You can unsubscribe from it at anytime by using the link provided into the email.
We take security very seriously that's why everything is built from the ground-up with security in mind. Architecture, software design, package and cloud providers, they are all selected to ensure no breaches occur.
We are not liable for any security breaches that happen out of our scope like a cloud provider issue, database service problems or hacked email servers. We are not responsible for hacked crypto wallets, passwords or any token which is lost due to the negligence of the user. We might not be able to recover your account or lost funds in this case.
We do NOT store any private wallet keys or passwords of any user, so it is the user's responsibility to take appropriate security measures.
Credentials authentication is done in collaboration with Auth0. Our websites do not share any information with Auth0, we rely on Auth0 just for authentication and authorization. Any user information which can be customized in our portal will be stored in our private database. By using our services, you accept the facts and the risks associated with this such as cloud provider breaches which may expose your data and to which AFIEther is not responsible for.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. In certain situations, after approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms send an automated email to the administrators, hence what is written there is stored on the mail server. Nothing is recorded to any database. The server may send a copy to you as well.
When it comes to payment, no credit card details or bank accounts are stored with us. Depending on the payment provider, you will be able to read their corresponding privacy policy linked on the page.
You have the right at any time to request from us any kind of info about what we store about you. You can also ask us to delete your user account if you registered with our platform. Remember we don’t store more data than you provided to us.
It may happen that we need to keep data for audit purposes, statistics or legal reasons. In these scenarios, we delete all the data linked to you, but we have the right that your data to be accounted or statistic, audit or legal purposes.
We do not keep any data related to you when you authenticate with wallet in any DAPP, unless explicitly required by the DAPP to work. Data which you supply to any DAPP is stored directly on the blockchain and may be visible to anyone.
In most cases, your data stays with us indefinitely. For comments, their metadata you supply stays indefinitely. Data stored when you subscribed to our newsletter is deleted permanently when you choose to unsubscribe.
If you create an account with us, you might be also added to the newsletter automatically by the system. You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails, however you may still receive important emails from us.
If you unsubscribe, this doesn't mean your account is deleted. Upon your express request, we can delete account data from our database. However, credential login information stays with Auth0 and we don't provide an express way to remove it from there.
AFIEther reserves the right to amend this policy as necessary. Users may be informed over the email about any substantial change.
